Glenn E. Roesener, 80, of Greenfield, passed away Monday, June 27, 2011. The son of Edwin C. and Emma I (Ortel) Roesener, he was born Nov. 29, 1930, in Cumberland.
A 1948 graduate of Warren Central High School, Glenn retired in 1994 from Southern Hancock County Community School Corporation, where he worked as a custodian. Previously, he was a delivery driver for Smith Young Florist. Glenn was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his sister, Beverly J. (Carl) Nicol; niece, Julie (Greg) Jones; nephew, Gene Nicol; great-niece, Kaitlynn Jones; step-great nephew, Derrick Jones; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 30, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 6513 West 300 South, New Palestine. Friends may call after 10 a.m. until time of services. Burial will follow at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
