Reverend Paul D. Johnson, age 78, died Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Miami Valley Hospital in Ohio. Born on May 19, 1933 in Connersville, he was the son of Orville and Mary (Cloud) Johnson.
He graduated from New Salem High School and attended Ball State University. Paul was married to Reba Johnson and also the late Ruth Johnson.
Paul was the pastor of King James Bible Church since 2005 and enjoyed helping people. One of his hobbies included watching college basketball and cheering on his favorite team.
Surviving him are his wife, Reba Johnson of Greenfield; daughter, Diane (David) Catt of Rocky Mount, N.C.; and grandchildren, Elisha and Megan Catt.
Preceding him in death were his first wife, Ruth Johnson; parents, Orville and Mary Johnson; and children, Phillip and Rachel.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 24, from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary. Funeral services will be on Friday, June 24, at 2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
