Catherine Sarks, 87, of Orlando, Fla., formerly of Wilkinson, died June 9, 2011 at Health Central Hospital in Orlando.
Born Dec. 6, 1923, in Naples, Ky., she was the daughter of Asa & Hattie Runyon. She was a member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene in Apopka, Fla.
Survivors include; sons, Garry Sarks of Orlando, Fla. and James (wife Patricia) Sarks of Ball Ground, Ga.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Louise Reffitt of Ridgedale, Mo. (formerly of Wilkinson) and Barbara Young of Shirley, Ind.; two brothers, Delbert Runyon of Westport, Ind. and Richard Runyon of Marion, Ind.; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, Allen; son, Wendell Ray; daughter, Janet Kay; two brothers, Ralph Runyon and Acie Runyon, Jr.; three sisters, Amelia Wiley, Bertha Huff and Gusta Marcum; and daughter-in-law Bonnie Sarks.
Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m, on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Condo and Son Funeral Home. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday, June 13, 2011. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson, Ind. Online condolences can be made at www.condoand son.com.
