Ira Willard Sparks, age 81, of Pendleton, died Sunday evening May 1, 2011, at Rawlins House in Pendleton, Ind. He was born Feb. 22, 1930 in Hancock County to the late Willis and Martha (Haynes) Sparks.
Survivors include his brother and sister-in law; Bill and Marieta Troy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; Ruth Marilyn (Lemerick) Sparks; and four sisters, Cecil Jackson, Viola Jones, Freda Basbinder, Ruth Hawkins.
A graveside service will be held at 10 A.M. on Thursday, May 5, 2011, at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson, Ind., with Adam Payne officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson, Ind.
