Wendell L. Huntzinger, 71 years of age of Markleville, Ind., died on Monday, April 4, 2011, at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis due to complications after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born June 24, 1939 in Anderson, to the late Walter H. and Esther (Teeters) Huntzinger.
Survivors include his loving wife, Jeanne; step daughters, Jessica Bressner of Mahomet Ill., Molly (Lane) Judd of Anderson; son, Tom (Pam) of Aurora, Colo.; daughters, Annette Jones and Karen Huntzinger of Cheyenne Wyo; four grandchildren; and someone like a daughter, Amanda Bender; brothers, Ronald ( Rita), Huntzinger Warren (Nancy) Huntzinger, Neil (Elaine) Huntzinger.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, April 7, 2011, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. A funeral service will be at 10: a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2011, at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson, with Father Joseph Rautenberg and Sister Shirley Gerth OSF officiating. Masonic Service will be at 7 p.m. by the Lapel Lodge #625. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery in Anderson.
