Lee Andrew Smith, age 26, of Charlottesville, passed away on March 27, 2011. Born on April 14, 1984, in Greenfield, Ind., he was the son of Steve and Debby Brooks, and Alvin Smith.
An automotive mechanic and graduate of Lincoln Tech, he was an avid sports fan, following the Oakland Raiders and University of Michigan Wolverines. He also enjoyed golf, and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his parents, sister Kelli Smith, brother Justin (Kara) Smith, grandmother Dee Wilson, step-grandparents Jim and Kenya Ostermeier, aunt Marcia (Rex) Dishon, uncle David (Darlene) Wilson, uncle Mark (Rebecca) Wilson, aunt Debi (Tom) Bewley, aunt Kristin (Jeff) Broome, eight cousins, six second-cousins and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, George Wilson, grandparents Ray and Penny Smith, and his uncle, Michael Wilson.
A mass is planned at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on March 31 at 11 a.m.
