Chester A. Bowling, 84, Indianapolis, passed away March 23, 2011. He was born on May 5,1926, the son of Ory and Lonnie (Cook) Bowling.
Chester served in the Army in WW II. He retired from Kroger Dairy after 37 years.
Chester was preceded in death by his wife, Jewell Bowling; and one sister.
He is survived by his sons, Billy H. Bowling, Daniel W. Bowling, Richard N. Bowling, Michael D. Bowling, Christopher A. Bowling, and Steven L. Bowling; his daughters, Judy Bowling Heck, Barbara L. Gallan, and Myra Bowling Clements; his many loving grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 25, 2011, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and also one hour prior to the services. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Legacy Funeral Center at Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington Street.
Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Hospital for Children.
