Katherine “Louise” Stoneking DeRolf, age 83, of Indianapolis, died on March 15, 2011, at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis. Born on Dec. 25, 1927, in Warsaw, KY., she was the daughter of Charles V. and Lena K. (Maxwell) McKinney.
Surviving her are her children, Brenda (Steve) Johnson of Austin, TX, Mike (Rose) Stoneking of Shelbyville, and Julie (Ron) Billingsley of Noblesville; brother, Russell H. McKinney of New Palestine; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Merrill Stoneking and her second husband, Fred G. DeRolf; sister, Adeen Spry; one grandchild; and great-grandchild.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 18, 2011, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, March 19, 2011, at 11 a.m. at New Life United Methodist Church in Fairland. Pastor Randy Slaven and Reverend Jerry Crause will be officiating. Burial will take place at New Palestine Cemetery.
