Dr. Franklin Davis Heatherly, age 70, of Fishers, died on March 1, 2011, in Noblesville. Born on Oct. 7, 1940, in Montgomery, W.Va., he was the son of Gip and Ruth (Davis) Heatherly. Dr. Heatherly was previously married to Joan Givens and Gena Heatherly.
Surviving him are his children, Laura Lynne Simpson of Beckley, W.Va., Franklin Davis “Dave”(Adriane) Heatherly, Jr. of Prattville, Ala., and Matthew Scott Heatherly of Noblesville; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Cody Heatherly; and first wife, Joan Givens.
A Memorial Service will be held in West Virgina at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield.
