Violet N. Saylors, age 81, of Shirley, died on Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, at Lawrence Manor in Indianapolis, Ind.
She was born on Mar. 19, 1929, in Indianapolis to the late Chester and Dorothy (Willoughby) Staley.
She was survived by daughters, Jeanne (Ken) Delbridge of New Castle and Linda “Andrea” (James) Rannefeld of Taos, NM; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one niece; and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Saylors; daughters, Becky Saylors and Diana Thalmann; and brothers, Chester Staley and Melvin Staley.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 18, 2011, at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens in New Castle.
