Mildred Levette Lynn Young, age 94, of Indianapolis, died Feb. 14, 2011. She was born on May 8, 1916 in Linton, Ind.
Mildred was a breakfast host at Baymont Inn and the Hampton Inn. Mildred was a waitress at the Branding Iron Restaurant for 20 years.
Survivors include sons, Jerry L. Farr (Shirley), William F. Farr (Shirley), John T. Farr; daughters, Sue Dennemann, Darlene Allen; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Maggie Lynn; brothers, Hullie, Raymond and Harvey Lynn; sisters, Juanita Driver, Edith Richardson and Eva Crider, Marie Okey; son, James Allen; husbands, Ben Farr, Howard Allen and Jack Young.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011at Hendryx Mortuary, 11636 E. Washington Street. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 at Mortuary. Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery.
