Robert L. “Bob” Henderson, 76, a resident of Glendale, Ariz., formerly of Greenfield, passed away Friday, Feb. 4, 2011 at his home in Arizona. He was born Dec. 24, 1934 in Carthage, Ind. to the late Louis and Grace (Howard) Henderson.

Bob was a graduate of Carthage High School, served in the U.S. Army, was a Greenfield City Policeman for 21 years, worked for the State of Arizona in Criminal Investigations for 18 years. He was a member of the Sugar Creek Baptist Church and the Hancock Masonic Lodge #101, F. & A.M. Bob enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patsy J. Henderson of Glendale, Ariz.; daughter, Sandra L. Henderson of Champaign, Ill.; sons, Jeffrey and Jack Henderson of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren, Dillon and Kailey Henderson of Phoenix, Ariz.; brothers, Raymond (Sharon) of Florida, Bill (Ruby) of Henderson, Ind., Dick (Heidi) of Madison, Ind., Charles (Sandee) of Greenfield; sisters, Jo Graham of Indianapolis, Margaret Leavitt of Pendleton; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Robert L. Henderson, Jr.; sisters, Ruth Raleigh and Lois Colwell; brother, Ralph Henderson.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield with Pastor Richard Williams officiating. Burial with full military rites will follow at Park Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until 2 p.m. on Wednesday with Masonic Services taking place at noon.
