James E. Maxwell, age 92, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at Hancock Regional Hospital.
He was born on Aug. 7, 1918, in Knightstown, the son of Fred Maxwell and Florence (Miner) Maxwell.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jane (Mauck) Maxwell of Knightstown; son, Jamie (Nora) Maxwell of Knightstown; daughter, Nancy (Jim) Garett of Anderson; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 12 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at the Todd funeral Home in Knightstown. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery.
