Terry L. Campfield

Terry L. Campfield, 58 years of age, of Pendleton, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, after an extended illness. He was born in Owensboro, Ky., on March 10, 1952, to Glenn and Juliene (Shultz) Campfield.

He graduated from Lapel High School in 1970 where he played baseball, basketball, cross country, and track. He worked as a dispatcher in the office of Irving Materials Inc. for 31 years where his buddies got him hooked on golf. Campy loved his horse Impy and his dog Dottie. He was a member of Tri County Christian Church in Middletown.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Blake) Campfield; parents, Glenn and Juliene Campfield of Lapel; sister, Diana (Bill) Dailey; aunts, Katherine and Helen; sister and brother-in-laws; as well as many loved ones and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Grandma Shultz whom he loved dearly.

Calling will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, at Condo and Son Funeral Home, in Wilkinson. A remembrance service will be held at 7 p.m. with Pastor Jim Harless officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at Mechanicsburg Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for memorial contributions to be made to the American Diabetes Association, 6415 Castleway W. Drive, Suite 114, Indianapolis, IN 46250 or American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674.
