Peggy Lou (Dye) Kleiman, age 72, peacefully passed from this life surrounded by family on Christmas Eve at Clare Bridge of Carmel. Born on Feb. 3, 1938, in Pumpkin Chapel, Ky., Peggy was the daughter of William Kenneth and Meda (McDonald) Dye.

She graduated from New Palestine High School in 1956 and was married to Paul F. Kleiman on Dec. 30, 1956, at Zion Lutheran Church. Peggy was a farming partner with her husband in addition to being a wife, homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was a realtor for the Beatty Realty Company and ReMax Company for 20 years before retiring. Peggy was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church in New Palestine and was Farm Bureau Farm Wife of the Year.

Surviving her are her son, Mark E. (Sandy) Kleiman of Hudson, Ohio; daughters, Terri (Michael) Suddarth of Taswell, Ind., Tami (Thomas) Phillippe of Greenfield, and Melanie (Brian) Bussell of Fountaintown; siblings, Glenna Johnson of Greenfield; Richard Dye of Greenfield and Hollis Dye of Fla.; eight grandchildren, Melissa, Matthew, Jacob, Ashley, Anna, Joel, Maggie, Max; and 3 great-grandchildren, Gaige, Tinley and Ava.

Preceding her in death were her parents, William and Meda Dye; husband, Paul Kleiman; brother, Bobby J. Dye; and sister, Loretta Dye.

A Celebration of Life will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, at Zion Lutheran Church in New Palestine. Funeral services will begin at 6:30 p.m. Pastor Jason Taylor will be officiating. A private burial will be on Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, in New Palestine.
