Earl Wayne Haley, 60, of Fortville, passed away Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born Jan. 8, 1950, in Jamestown, Ky., to the late Oakley and Artha Dell (Grider) Haley.

Mr. Haley worked at Liberty Bell Flea Market in Indianapolis. He was a member of the Family Life Community Church in Pendleton where he assisted with the Youth Group, greeting, Helping Hands Ministry, and Southern Baptist Disaster Relief. He was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Fortville.

He is survived by his wife, Janett (Medley) Haley, whom he married in 1967; daughter, Sherri Hughey of Fortville; son, Anthony Wayne (Randi) Haley of Pendleton; grandchildren, Casey J. Louks, Travis L. (Bethan) Smith, Haley Jo Caudell, and Hanna Caudell; great-grandchildren, Travis and Tony Louks; brother, Mervin (Denise) Haley of Southport; and sisters, Betty Bonds of North Vernon, Louise (Leroy) Driscoll of Indianapolis, and Donna (Steve) Goode of Indianapolis.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Haley.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, at Seals Funeral Home in Fortville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
