Mary Euldean Covey, 83, of Dublin, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at the Glen Oaks Health Campus in New Castle. She was born on Dec. 5, 1927, in Drop, Ky., in Clinton County, a daughter of the late Peary Earl and Dora E. (Honeycutt) Burchett.
Survivors include her siblings, Jacquita "Jackie" (Jim) Holcomb of Losantville, Icel B. (Shelby) Burchett of Dublin, Sally Ann (Max) Blose of Robinson, Texas and Patsy (Stuart) Mikesell of Greenfield; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Merle Smalley and Willie Leo Covey; sister, Olene Brown; and brother, Knox Burchett.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010, at the Marshall and Erlewein Funeral Home, 1993 Cumberland Street, Dublin, IN 47335. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010, at the funeral home, with additional visitation prior to the time services. Burial will follow in South Lawn Cemetery in Dublin.
