Gary W. Achor, Sr., 59, a resident of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, surrounded by his family. He was born May 17, 1951, in Dayton, Ohio and was the son of the late Edward Achor and Verdine (Achor) Everidge.
Gary was a truck driver for Piazza Produce of Indianapolis and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by a son, Gary (Sarah Jo) Achor, Jr. of Greenfield; daughters, Molly (Ronny) Lux of Indianapolis, Sondra (David) Sohn of Indianapolis, Amy (Adam) Martin of Greenfield; nine grandchildren, Garyson and Jake Lux, Tabitha and Austin Sohn, Hunter, Carter and Kaden Achor, Kalob and Maddox Martin; and sister, Barbara Miller of Greenfield.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mollie Achor; brothers, Joseph and Donald Achor; and step-father, Willard Everidge.
A celebration of life visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
