William F. Richey, 82, of King of Prussia, Pa., formerly of Greenfield, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at the Riddle Memorial Hospital in Media, Pa. He was born May 13, 1928, in Greensburg, Ind., a son of the late Lee and Julia (Steckelman) Richey.
He was a 1956 graduate of Greenfield High School.
He is survived by his wife, Constance "Connie" (Leary) Richey; daughter, Alice Kopler of Ft. Wayne, Ind; sons, James W. (Michelle) Richey of Blue Bell, Pa., William Richey of King of Prussia, Pa., Thomas (Debra) Richey of Bridgeport, Pa., and Matthew Richey of Bridgeport, Pa.; brothers, James of Palm Bay, Fla., Henry of Greenfield, Harold of Forest Lake, Minn., and Michael of Greenwood, Ind.; sisters, Florence Lee Richey Underwood of Okemos, Mich., Julia Mae Richey Hoehner of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mary Alice Richey Aberthany of Dallas, Texas; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were brothers, Robert and Carl.
A memorial funeral mass was held Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, at the St. Augustine RC Church in Bridgeport, Pa., followed by interment at the St. Augustine Cemetery, Upper Merion Twp. Arrangements were entrusted to Moore & Snear Funeral Home in Conshohocken, Pa.
