Norma Jean Wilson Oathout, 86, of Fortville, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. She was born Aug. 27, 1924, in Washington, Ind. to the late James C. and Lucy (Wathen) Riney.
She is survived by her children, Cassandra (James) Hanafee of Noblesville, Michael Wilson of Fortville, Gayle Spalding of Indianapolis and Chris (Pam) Wilson of McCordsville; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Camilla Smith of Indianapolis.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Ivis “Bub” Wilson; and six siblings.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010, with a rosary service beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fortville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Fortville. Burial will immediately follow at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis.
