Helen L. Hummel, 87, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at Mount Carmel St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville, Ohio. She was born Dec. 8, 1922, in Jay County, Ind., to the late Clem and Bertha (Green) Wright.
Survivors include her daughter, Lora (David) Augenstein of New Albany, Ohio; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Berniece Harris of Shirley; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hummel; and son, Donald Hummel.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010, at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010, at the funeral home. Rev. Robert Wright will officiate. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery in New Castle.
