Beverly J. Foster, age 77, of Wilkinson, passed away, Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. She was born Nov. 27, 1933, in Indianapolis, to the late Wayne and Mary (Neidhamer) Robertson.
Beverly retired from Eastern Hancock School System in 2003. She was a member of the Wilkinson Church of Christ, Wilkinson Brotherhood and Sisterhood and the Lilac Literary Club. She enjoyed playing cards and working the election polls each year, but the love of her life was spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Debbe Nichols of New Palestine, Tamme (Danny) Jenkins of Greenfield; son, Rick (Brenda) Foster of Wilkinson; sister, Sharon Halphin of Noblesville; brother, Wayne Robertson Jr., of Lawrence; seven grandchildren, Larry Peacock, Tiffany and Brandon Nichols, Eric and John Jenkins, Logan and Lyndsi Foster; and one great-grandchild, Nolan Peacock.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John, in 1971.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010, at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at the funeral home, with Kurt Alexander officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
