Wandie F. Waterman, age 65, of New Palestine, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at her home in New Palestine. Born on June 9, 1945, in Hermitage Springs, Tenn., she was the daughter of Bransford L. and Brillia J. (Rush) Cherry.
Surviving her are her husband, Robert Waterman, Sr. of New Palestine; children, Rob (Jennie) Waterman, Jr. and Melissa (Steve) Waterman, both of New Palestine; siblings, Mack (Wanda) Cherry of Indianapolis, and Lourenia (Donald Lee) Davis, Royce Cherry, Joyce (Don) Staffey, Lois (Ronnie) Hudson, Lennis (Jean) Cherry, and Garnett (Ruth) Cherry, all of Tenn.; five grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; two aunts; and an uncle.
She was preceded in death by her son, Eddie Allen Waterman; her parents; and an infant brother.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at Zion Lutheran Church in New Palestine. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at the church, with calling for one hour prior to the service. Pastor Jason Taylor will be officiating and burial will take place at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Erlewein Mortuary of Greenfield.
