Bill F. Kissick, age 68, of Greenfield, passed away on Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. Born on April 21, 1942, in Rowan County, Ky., he was the son of Samuel Francis and J. Katherine (Caldwell) Kissick.
He graduated from Mt. Summit High School and worked for Ford Motor Company for over 42 years before retiring in 2003. Bill was a member of the UAW, the VFW of Greenfield, and the American Legion of Greenfield. He had received numerous awards during his career at Ford Motor Company.
Surviving him are his mother, J. Katherine Kissick of Greenfield; children, Burke Kissick of Greenfield, Jama McCawley of Charleston S.C., Megan (William) Landis of Greenfield, and Lindsey Kissick of New Palestine; step-daughter, Anita Medlin of Greenfield; sisters, Elizabeth Couch of New Palestine, Marjorie Reeves of Knightstown, Kenneth Kissick of Mooresville, and Barry Kissick of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Sasha, Stephanie, Tony, Zachary, Tre, and Connor; and great-grandchildren, Bri and Eli.
He was preceded in death by his father; and siblings, Bob Kissick and Joyce Kissick.
A Memorial Service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield with visitation taking place for an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
